Western Supply Job Posting

Job Description

Job Title: Central Control Sales and Service for Western Supply

Opening Date: Immediate

Location: Based in Boise, with travel throughout the state and parts of Wyoming and Nevada.

Responsibilities: Promote, sell and service Central Control products with public agencies, commercial, and residential projects with respect to Rain Bird Central Control products. Track project and user databases, manage rewards points and be a liaison between Manufacturers and end users.

Requires: Ability to work with Architects, Designers, Specifiers, general public, and end users in a friendly and tactful manner. Available to work overtime and travel throughout the state of Idaho and into Wyoming and Nevada. Attend periodic training and teach classes to end-users; then be available for additional end users and software/ hardware support.

Candidates: Knowledge of irrigation principles in relation to (ET) Evapotranspiration, Precipitation rates of sprinklers, basic electrical and hydraulic theory. Candidate should have a high level of computer hardware- software knowledge, and understand LAN-WAN Ethernet principles. A superior candidate will be able to tie together irrigation principles in relation to hardware and software applications, correspond via email, understand Excel spreadsheets, and work with pricing and inventory levels. A superior candidate will be able to master new technologies and communication protocols as they develop and implement solutions.

Applications: Windows 9X, XP, Vista, Maxicom″, Site Control, MDC, IQ, ET Manager, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HyperTerminal, and be able to master other manufacturers programming software for network, stand alone, and radio devices.

Hardware: Master valve and pump start relays, Irrigation controllers and 2-wire path communication, flow sensors, decoders, radio, WiFi, Analog phone, Ethernet devices, weather stations, and relay operation of door locks and lighting, board level solder and ICC chip replacement.

Education:
Minimum 3 years of irrigation and hardware support.
